Today I am sharing 5 different recipes with you using 10 different main ingredients. I want to show that when planning and carrying out your weekly food shop, you don’t have to buy a mass amount of products to create some yummy family meals. I always have some staple ingredients in my cupboards and fridge which I will also be dipping into, but will be focussing on the 10 bulk ingredients for these meals.

MEALS AND INGREDIENTS:
Chicken and Pea Risotto
Ingredients:
 1tbsp olive oil
 1 onion, chopped
 2 garlic clove, crushed
 350g risotto rice
 1000ML vegetable stock
 2 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
 1sp thyme
 200g frozen veg / peas
 Salt/pepper
 Grated cheese

Pasta Bolognaise
Ingredients:
 2 medium onions, peeled and chopped
 1tbsp olive oil
 3 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
 500g lean mince
 1tsp dried oregano or mixed herbs
 400g can tomatoes
 300ml hot beef stock
 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 Salt and ground black pepper
 Pasta
 Cheese to sprinkle

Sausage and Mash with onion gravy
Ingredients:
 Sausages
 Potatoes
 Onions
 Gravy granules
 Frozen Veg
 Butter
 Milk

Chicken and tomato Pasta bake
Ingredients:
 2tbsp olive oil
 1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
 400g skinless chicken breast fillet, cut into chunks
 400g can chopped tomatoes
 Pinch of sugar
 2tbsp chopped fresh basil, plus leaves to garnish
 Salt and freshly ground black pepper
 400g dried pasta shapes
 grated cheddar cheese

Potato and Cheese Frittata
Ingredients:
 2 tablespoons olive oil
 2 large potatoes, peeled and shredded
 1 large onion
 Salt and pepper
 1 cup grated cheese
 6 large beaten eggs

medium, and add onions. Cook, stirring, until softened. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour eggs over the potatoes and onions.
 Place the skillet in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until eggs are firm. Remove from
the oven, and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Return to the oven for about 5
minutes, or until cheese is melted.
