Cooking Easy Asian Crispy Chicken Wings Recipe 阿嘛鸡翅 Old School Chinese Style
Roland and I love the chicken wings sold by Ikea in Singapore because they reminded us so much of our childhood. In the good old days, the old folks prepared these wings in this style. We actually recreated this recipe based on our taste bud memory. The end results were not too bad at all. We loved it!

Makes 20 pieces of wings
Marinate the wings for at least 2 hrs but best overnight.
2kg of chicken wings
4 tablespoons of oyster sauce
2 tablespoons of concentrated chicken stock
4 tablespoons of Chinese cooking wine
4 tablespoons of low sodium light soya sauce
1 tablespoon of dark soya sauce
A few dashes of white pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
5 tablespoons of potato starch
Just before deep-frying
Add about 1-1.5 tablespoons of potato starch
