  1. I love your ideas. Have you ever helped decorate a living room for a family with cats? I need some ideas for creating a pretty, cat-proof living room.

  2. I used to have a couch like that. I think it was about $800 new 30 years ago. It pulled out into a sofa bed. It was a nice piece of furniture at the time. The room looks real nice now.

  3. Man i wish i could get ur help. I cant keep up at home i work and come home to the house wrecked. I have to start over everyday. And i cant design my house i suck at that u rock.

  4. Sorry but it looks shite! I hope interior decor isn't your main job coz tout it bluntly errr no

  5. It's already been said, but why do decorators and designers position furniture in impractical places?
She could have easily kept the entertainment center in the same place, and floated the couch in front of it.
The problem with the entertainment center setup is it's too short and wide.
It should be cut into single wide shelves, and one shelf should be placed on either side of the TV section. The remaining shelves should be cut down to three cubes instead of four, and each 3 cube shelf should be placed on top the single towers on either side. A cut of lumber that fits as a bridge should connect the towers.
I don't think the gray fits into the color scheme. She should have gone with a darker shade of the same teal for the couch color (fabric dye is as great as spray paint for getting the color you want).
The end tables and lamps are fine, but she should have placed a diy painting matching the height of the towers and taking up the entire middle section of the would-be empty wall (again DIY stain underlayment wood piece in ebony to match the browns and paint large teal flowers on top). The toys should go in the cloth bins filling out the towers. That plastic chest-of drawers doesn't belong in there.
I like the small table and chair set, but there's no room in the living room for it. It shouldn't be in there either.

  6. Great job. You really upgraded what they already had quite nicely. It's amazing what just having a creative eye and decluttering can do for decor. ~Smile!

  7. Loved the lamps and the weaves baskets . Not too sure what’s going on with the entertainment unit… why even spend the money on the couch if you can’t properly watch the tv .
Only other idea would be to get rid of that tv unit . But would suck because it’s not a bad looking one
