We went to school for a drive-by parade to wave and say “hi” to the teachers. Then we went back home, picked some berries from the backyard garden and prepared a pancake breakfast topped with our garden pickings.

It’s Friday and I was on paid time off, so we took it easy and had a lazy breakfast in the front yard garden.

In the evening I prepared mojito.Mint and lime pounded well and long, a handful of blueberries and more pounding. two tablespoons sugar, a splash of white rum, ice cubes and, soda water… cheers!
