Shanghai is known as the most expensive city in China. It is full of modern skyscrapers, fancy cocktail bars and luxurious restaurants. BUT it is also home to great street food. The aroma of grilled meat, pot stickers (what?), hawkers yelling for customers, home-made recipes passed on for generations. You would be amazed at the food you can find for just 1 dollar!
