Travel Hacking Our Way To Bali With 4 Kids!
We are excited to share with you our travel hacking tips on how we booked our family of 6 to fly to Bali, Indonesia for only $36! Tony and I dive deep into our favorite travel hacking credit cards and how many points it took for us to grab these tickets.
The Chase Ultimate Rewards Program has been an amazing value for us and we share how we have opened up 4 different Chase credit cards in the last 2 years between the two of us. Then, once met the sign on bonus, we were able to transfer all of our ultimate rewards points onto Tony’s Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card.
The next step was finding the best use of our points with an airline. We discovered, after searching with Skyscanner and Google Flights, that we were going to receive 2.0 cents per point if we went with United, which was an excellent value! Anything above 1.25 cents per point is a good value.
We learned that we could continue traveling on a budget even if we’re out of our RV. Our family of 6 is now getting ready to travel the world on a budget and start with Bali!
